Park Description
The research park encompasses 156 acres with lakes, meadows, forested areas and a
wetland preserve on the Auburn University campus in Auburn, Alabama: the park serves
as the south gateway to the campus.
The park is being developed as a mixed-use campus and over time will be the location
of high technology companies, university research facilities, business support centers,
technology transfer capabilities, supporting business firms, and future amenities such as
hotel and restaurant to encourage interaction between park tenants, university faculty and
students, and local entrepreneurs.
The park is master planned for up to 12 buildings totaling approximately 600,000 square
feet of office and laboratory space. It is being developed in two phases with Phase 1
having sites for up to 5-6 buildings that will accommodate about 200,000 - 300,000
square feet of space.
The park is a sustainable development designed to balance development against
protecting the natural environment. Buildings constructed by the ARTF are LEED
certified.

Location
Auburn
is located on the plains of eastern Alabama, about 50 miles east of the
state's capitol Montgomery, and 115 miles southwest of Atlanta, GA and
one of the largest international airports in the U.S. It is 110 miles
from Birmingham, AL and 35 miles east of Columbus, GA.
